When you know what’s “right,” but keep doing “wrong”
There have been many times when I have stayed too long.
When I didn’t know the difference between what was “right” & what was “wrong.”
Especially when it came to me - my life & my fulfillment.
People came to me for advice, but I had the hardest time taking my own.
As I started to discover more about why I was the way I was.
When I started to learn more about codependency.
About attachment styles.
About “how” I should be when I was dating & calling in true love.
I started to distance myself from who I was at my core.
I started to believe that I had to be someone else to call in epic love.
It was innate.
It was what I had done my whole life.
I didn’t know anything else.
When they said “It’ll happen when you least expect it,” the truth is, I was desperate for it.
I was desperate for a love that would save me.
So, I lost myself.
I lost my true essence trying to be someone that I wasn’t.
Each time I knew what was “wrong” with me & tried to fix it.
Each time I knew what I didn’t want & couldn’t get what I did want.
Time after time in dating resulted in disappointment, anger, frustration, confusion, & dismay.
After decades of being lost, here’s the secret I’ve discovered: thinking & doing are two completely different things.
When I learned how to combine what my brain was instinctually doing, combining it with what my nervous system was instinctually doing, & adding (with a big spoonful of love) what all of the warring parts on the inside of me were doing, I found the ticket that the universe gave to me so I could give to you.
That’s why so many women (& men) are stuck in dating rn - your whole being & whole essence - your true self, your true core, aren’t on board. They are misaligned.
